The superb Adelaide Cants returning to Bethlehem for a Friday night cantata concert and Sunday Vespers Service.
Friday 6 September, 6.30pm-7.30pm:
'Passion and Praise'
An all-Bach program featuring excerpts from Bach's St John Passion, the motet BWV 230 'Lobet den Herrn, alle Heiden' (Praise the Lord, all nations) and cantata BWV 33 'Allein zu dir, Herr Jesu Christ' (Only upon You, Lord Jesus Christ), performed by vocal soloists and an expert Baroque instrumental ensemble including Baroque oboes.
